I am a new subscriber to the list and I am researching corpora
of English and German medical texts with the help of the TACT
software. I have experienced problems with spaces between words which
do not seem to be carried over into ASCII format from time to time,
so that two consecutive words sometimes appear as one, and frequency
counts and collocations etc. therefore produce inaccurate results. As
texts cannot be edited within TACT it is difficult to resolve.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

I would very much like to hear from anyone using TACT.
