I am looking for a postdoc researcher in the area of statistical natural
language processing or information retrieval. This position is available
immediately for a one year period and ending no later than 31 March
2006. Extension beyond one year is possible, subject to availability of
research fund. The candidate will join at the rank of Research Fellow.
The candidate should have a PhD in computer science or a related
discipline, with prior experience in statistical or machine learning
approaches to natural language processing or information retrieval.
Strong programming skills and good command of English (both spoken and
written) are required. Expertise in machine learning and statistics is
valuable. The ideal candidate should have a strong publication record.
